Energy Musings, Here, Now!

This Week-End!

What does it mean to fill with Love?  What does it mean to practice Loving-Kindness?  Start with you.  Every fiber of your being.  Every cell of your body.  Practice here, filling yourSELF with love. Practice here, feeding yourSELF with loving-kindness & forgiveness.

There is no part of you that is not worthy of your love.  With love, comes great forgiveness. With Forgiveness, comes even greater awakening.  This Love-wakening IS powerful, is the path of the Warrior, is Fierce.  It cuts through illusion, unconsciousness, blind spots.  It is the light that shines its brilliance on everything.

There is a “false awakening” that rides on the path of fear, anger, hatred and triggers disguised as passion.  If you focus on filling with self – love, you will see very clearly if this “false awakening” is trying to convince you of its “false power”.  The light of love sees all.

This is not a “head in the clouds” sort of love.  It is a life changing, evolutionary, all encompassing love that quickly sets illusion ablaze with its truth.  This is the love to feed. This is the love to grow.  This is the love to encompass.

Start with Self, then gently, slowly, lovingly, kindly, allow that love to ease out of your being into the world.  This love. This power.  This light.

Let this love guide you this weekend.

Peace all!

And Rock Out!

Word of the Day (which, I invite you to use in a sentence today!) :  Weltanschauung:  a comprehensive conception or apprehension of the world especially from a specific standpoint (from https://www.merriam-webster.com). The German word Weltanschauung literally means “world view”; it combines Welt (“world”) with Anschauung (“view”), which ultimately derives from the Middle High German verb schouwen (“to look at” or “to see”). When we first adopted it from German in the mid-19th century, weltanschauung referred to a philosophical view or apprehension of the universe, and this sense is still the most widely used. It can also describe a more general ideology or philosophy of life.

Energy Musings.  Here. Now.

Today!

Listen to the wind. She sings for you today.  Her gentle whisperings, her hushing tones, her howling rage.  If you close your eyes and listen, what do you hear?

Watch the wind.  She dances for you today.  Her playful rhythms, her wild demonstrations, her subtle gestures.  If you look closely and watch her move, what do you see?

Feel the wind.  She moves for you today.  Her light tickle, her intimate hug, her powerful push.  If you open your arms and embrace the wind, what do you feel?

The wind is your messenger today.  Use her to fill, ground & clear.  She will show you everything you need right here, right now.

Energy Musings. Here. Now.

Today!

Resistance.  I have been contemplating the meaning of this word and its associations lately.  The feeling I get when hearing or reading it.  Its multiple applications from the Physical Body, to fitness, to historical moments.

Resistance.  Sometimes it seems to have positive attributes and intentions.  Sometimes it seems necessary though not ideal.  Sometimes, it holds a kind of captive power that concerns me.  Like a false kind of strength that makes you feel good, but really, you’ve gained nothing.  Sometimes it seems to call forth a quality of stubbornness which may or may not be useful.

Resistance. I treat this word, this concept, as I do all words/concepts, with respect and extremely careful consideration. Its too easy to just pick up the drum beat in unison without first asking : Why?  and is this the best tool for my stated desired outcome?

Lately, I feel that resistance has become the second sister of Anger, living in her shadow. Not knowing where to place complicated strong emotions, “resistance” becomes an easy target for these un-resolved feelings.  Just insert all frustration, anger, anxiety, etc here, in this  box called “resistance” and suddenly you feel empowered.

I question everything that empowers me.  What kind of power am I suddenly imbued with?  who’s power?  at who’s expense? Is this clear, honest, non judgemental “power”?  The kind that uplifts everyone ?  or not?  Where does this power lead?

I would like to pose an antidote.  Something new to try, even if just for a moment.  I am not asking you to live with this forever.  Just to get curious, explore and see what is here for you.

Resist Nothing.

Start with Acceptance.  Start with Love.  Start with Compassion. Start with Non-Judgement.

Notice then what happens to the resistance. Is it still necessary?  Does it have the same force?  Does it lead you in a different direction?  What has changed?

Is there another word that comes to mind that better expresses what is here, in this space? What wisdom, knowledge and understanding is to be gained here?  In this place of non-resistance.

This is what I am exploring these days.  The world of non-resistance.  I’m not talking about passivity or detachment.  I’m not talking about faking happiness.  I’m not talking about giving yourself permission to witness atrocities without responsibility.  All I am talking about is this:

What happens when you let go of your attachment to resistance.

I really want to know.

Peace.

Energy Musings.  Here. Now.

Today!

Establish yourself in the present moment, and then, move forward with clear action.  With each breath, with each inhale, with each exhale, bring yourself here and now.  Each step forward through your day re-establishes your present moment awareness.  Each breath of your day re-establishes present moment awareness.  Breathing in, I know that I am breathing in.  Breathing out, I know that I am breathing out. Moving gently forward as you anchor in to each and every moment.

As thoughts arise in this place, this clear sacred living place, they arise from true connection; true union.  Union with your breath, this life and this moment.  Deep connection is always here and now, waiting for you:  to notice, to pay attention, to breathe life into.

In this present moment, there is only acceptance.  Acceptance of this breath, of what is here, of what is now.  It is fleeting, ephemeral, precious, holy.  In this present moment, there is only oneness.  In this present moment there is only love.  Our life is a collection of these present moments.  One layered on top of the other. Each one building upon the previous moment.  And each one brand new and fresh in and of itself.  Each one sacred and unique.

How many present moments have you lived today?  This week?  In your life?

This is what matters most.
