Energy Musings. Here. Now.

Live the Ceremony.  Walk the Ceremony.  Be the Ceremony.  Breathe the Ceremony.

You ARE the ceremony. In each and every moment. With each and every breath.  Inhaling infinite clear potential and exhaling blocks, constrictions, limiting beliefs.  With each and every breath. Literally.

There is nothing “to do” differently. There is no need to make it special.  To add bells, whistles, colors.  In its simplest of forms, the ceremony holds tremendous power.  Incredible life changing opportunity.  The creation of all the surface details, of all the external rituals, serves to remind us of the constant state of ceremony we all live in always.  Remember that.  It is easy to get distracted by those external things, thinking they are what makes a “ceremony”.  But if they become distractions than they have lost their purpose.

Come back to the breath.  Really, that’s all it takes.  No tools are needed accept your razor sharp awareness.  No action is needed accept to Breathe.

Breathing in, I know that I am breathing in.  Breathing out, I know that I am breathing out. Its that simple.  Breathing in, I know that I am the living expression of the ceremony. Breathing out, I soften into acceptance of this.

We are the breath. We are the ceremony.

Now walk forward through your day, carrying this awareness with you in each and every step.

Energy Musings. Here. Now.

What does it mean to live and be “awake”?  What does “eyes wide open” mean to you?  How do you “pay attention” with full discernment?

Lets try this.  Close your eyes and enter the awareness of your body, tuning in to subtle sensation and responses.  Tune in first to the breath, she will be your guide.  Allow her to lead you through the body.  Listen, Listen deeply.  Take a deep breath in and blow it away.  Really blow it away.  Then breathe again, this time, a bit more relaxed, softer, more accepting.

And now listen to these words while you maintain your inner awareness. While you remain connected to your body.  Imagine you hear someone, other than you, saying these words.  How does your body respond? if at all?  (We are actively looking for triggers here so know that they might show up.)

Here we go:

“If you are not feeling angry right now, than you must be asleep.”

breathe it in, let it go.

“If you are not happy right now, than you must be an angry person.”

breathe it in, let it go.

“If you do not feel hopeful right now, than you must not be spiritual”

breathe it in, let it go.

“If you don’t see the hopelessness of this moment, than you must not really be looking”

breathe it in, let it go.

“If you don’t accept this President, then you must not be Patriotic”

breathe it in, let it go.

“If you accept this Presidency, then you must be stupid.”

breathe it in, let it go.

Now try these:

“I’m so excited there’s going to be a change”

“I’m so sad about what’s happening in the world”

“I’m so worried about the future”

“I’m so hopeful about the future”

Now listen, listen deeply to these words:

“Liberals react to every issue, emotionally. Never using common sense. But in reality, they just want to feel good about themselves.”

“Conservatives react to every issue, emotionally. Never using common sense. But in reality, they just want to feel good about themselves.”

“Liberals come off as a rambling ball of unreasonable hatred which if any had a good cause to promote I couldn’t tell because it was lost in childish rhetoric and hostility.”
“Trump supporters come off as a rambling ball of unreasonable hatred which if any had a good cause to promote I couldn’t tell because it was lost in childish rhetoric and hostility.”

“European news sources are saying that the Democrats’ goal is to destablize the country, the govt and ultimately our economy.  It’s about power and money.”

“European news sources are saying that the Trump’s goal is to destablize the country, the govt and ultimately our economy.  It’s about power and money.”

I have heard and read all of these above words (and so many more) in the last few days/week.  From all sorts of walks of life and people.  People who claim they are awake, people who have no clue what that means,  people who couldn’t care less, people who care deeply, people who teach others to be awake.

Are you awake? aware?  eyes wide open?  willing and able to see the whole picture?  Unwilling to point fingers, blame, shame or condemn?  Because I know this much, that the path of pointing fingers may seem like the shortcut but is really a detour leading us back to this exact same moment in time over and over again.   And even here, we may disagree. And even in that disagreement, we may find respect and understanding.

But we might start with this:  What does it mean to be awake?  Lets get our definitions clear first.

Energy Musings.  Here. Now.

Can you embrace it all?  The love, the pain, the inspiration, the discouragement, the wholeness, the divisions? Can you hold it all in your being?  Can you feel the realness of it all?

This is the lesson of the yin & yang, the shadow & light,  above & below, and all the other representations of this energetic.  For eternity we have known, have seen, have categorized, have explained, have created entire myths and cultures around this knowledge.  Have we forgotten?  Have we forgotten that unity is the only way we can co-exist?  Not just with each other, but with this planet as well?  Have we forgotten that Unity means true, radical, Inclusion?  Absent of blame, shame, righteousness or hierarchical beliefs for others?

As we become more & more inspired, can we continue to move forward with the lessons from all history about the nature of balance and the requirement to be inclusive in mind? Can we look at the places where we unconsciously (or not) judge and shine the light THERE?  Can we do this without saying “yeah, but YOU do it first”  or “Yeah!  I’m doing it so you better do it too!”  Can we allow our own journey to guide us in the right direction by allowing ourselves to feel “unhinged”so the hooks and triggers can be released?

Can we guide and support each other through these individual and collective journeys, finding what we each need to move forward?

This is the face of radical acceptance or radical inclusion and nothing less is going to get us out of this mess.

We all must be willing to have some belief we cling to be shattered.

Song of the Day:

I am on fire this morning. A blazing hot transmuting machine.

My soul is shining bright in this dark dark place. My vision razor sharp and focussed.
These are the times I am made for. To shed. To Shift. To Awaken.
This is the work I was born to do. This journey has led me here in this place and time. Right in the center of it all. There’s no place I’d rather be.
Denial is useless. I must own this dark place and rip it open from the very center where I stand. Turning the fabric of the universe inside out, because I know,
I know,
whats on the other side.

Energy Musings. Here. Now.

“Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred”.  Dr Marin Luther King Jr.

I have a Dream too.

Of women in solidarity and strength, demonstrating for freedom, for all our sisters everywhere, here, now.  This amassing of feminine strength and endurance in our Nation’s capitol, and also in cities around the globe, with its sheer presence… shifting the backlash against our progress and halting it in its tracks.  Our own diversity of strengths respected, recognized and supported.  That those in the center of the march, are respected and supported as much as those on the outer rings. Our true understanding of this big picture coming into focus: equally valued.  My dream is that all of us women, and supporters of women, can clear away any negativity directed toward our sisters born of hidden bitterness or hatred. To hold the truth of all women being created equal.  To judge each other not by our choice of hats but by the content of our character.

On this day, Can we love our sisters whether they choose to wear pink pussyhats or not, who choose to be at the march or stay at home, who advocate for all women’s rights in their own way… without judgement, pointing fingers, guilt, blame, shame, or “should-ing” on them? without even needing to understand them?

Can we come to appreciate, value and accept our differences, hand in hand, walking forward, from this day on?

Dr King is my Angel, my guide, and I pray to him for this today.

What is your Dream today?

Energy Musings.  Here. Now.

We are operating at warp speed. Catching up quickly to the lessons we have long been avoiding. The ones hidden in the deep dark shadows and recesses of our psyche and being.  This kind of “catch up” can been be brutal at times.  Can throw you off balance, trigger you, feel like a relentless ‘attack’.

The question is:  how do you respond to pressure?  I don’t mean the kind of pressure when you leave your homework assignment till the night before or don’t study for  a test until the 11th hour.  I mean pure, base, raw, survival pressure.

Collectively, we need a new way, a new strategy, some new options.

Starting with ourselves, cultivate the deepest level of awareness we are capable of in this moment.  And this one.  And this one.  Noticing exactly when we lose or drop this awareness and coming back to it time and time and time again.  This takes training, and diligence.

It’s also time to strategize Together and struggle through differing opinions and viewpoints to see the collective universal wisdom that I know is there, but hasn’t yet been revealed.

We must listen, really listen, and listen more.  Listen without judgement.  Remembering if we truly are to remain “awake and aware” ; If we truly are to move forward with “eyes wide open”;   then we must, MUST, take in ALL information. We can’t pick and choose, because then we don’t have the whole picture.

We’ve run out of time.  In this moment, everyone must rise together.  In this moment, we all must do our work.  In this moment,  we must and can, shift.

Peace All.
