Rest. Rest you thoughts, your mind, your body. Rest your worry, your agitation, your activity. Everything you do today, Every place you are today, be there with the spirit of rest.
Take things slowly and breathe deeply. Can you be restful even during an active day? Can you find the restful spirit in the business of life?
Through rest we recharge, rejuvinateate and cleanse. Rest, in many forms, is a necessary balance to our lives. We rest our digestive system when we fast for health and cleansing, we rest our minds when we meditate for well being and awareness, we rest our bodies when we sleep to have the energy for the next day. If we can bring even a small piece of this embodiment of “rest” into our daily lives we will feel more peaceful, refreshed and healthy. We will have more patience, compassion and happiness. We will have more health and more energy.
